A new show from Hip Hop Insiders

Flash Point Blank.

"The moment it caught — told point blank, no dodging."

A new HHI show built on one question, asked at every level — from the fan who found an artist first, to the artists themselves, up to the biggest names in the culture: what was your flashpoint? Every episode is a real discovery story, backed by the numbers behind it.

Host status

Host: to be named.

We're not hiring a host. We're finding one — the same way the whole site works: real people, discovered. Submit a clip, and you could be the one sitting across the table for the pilot episode of Flash Point Blank.

The contest

How it works.

1. Submit a clipInterview anyone — a friend, a local artist, whoever — about how they got into music. A few minutes is plenty.

2. Finalists get pickedThe HHI team narrows every entry down to a handful of finalists.

3. The audience votesFinalists go up on the site, and HHI's audience picks who hosts the pilot.

4. You host episode oneThe winner sits down for Flash Point Blank's very first episode. That's the prize.

What we're judging: can you get someone to open up, ask a real follow-up instead of the next scripted question, and hold a room without becoming the story yourself.
